    ConvImx won't do it

Sorry guys it seems Convimx won't do the trick Bravo, it saves the files with the alpha channel which seems to be the problem, anyway you'd better use DXTBMP or Imagetool to convert the textures to 32 bit.

Textures transparency issue in SP2/ DX10 preview

     Hey guys,
If you're using my FSX Rainy Pass scenery you'll notice when in DX10 preview that the Lodge and cabin textures are transparent  Bravo,  this is an issue with SP2/ DX10 and to solve it you'll have to navigate to the object library texture folder and then open each texture and save each one back in 32 bit Confuso , this can be  easily done using either imagetool that ships with FSX SDK or DXTBMP (freeware) by Martin Wright, while there also get his latest DLL set without which his software won't run. The third alternative is using another software by Martin Wright Convimx (also freeware) , it does the same as the previous two but in batches saving you time. I hope this helps.

    Eagle Island

"Eagle Island, is a fairly large island in the Yukon River, between Grayling and Kaltag. It is a checkpoint
on the south route of the Iditarod Trail. There is a cabin and a nice campfire to warm you up.  Runway 06-24 is,
1,200 feet long, 60 feet wide, hard packed dirt surface".(quoted from Snowboss's site).
This is my first attempt at making a scenery, besides the airstrip it adds a cabin, campfire, land start, water start with docks and a flock of birds, a grizzly has been spoted too. Only default FSX objects and textures were used, so it probably won't work in other FS versions.

    Real Stars for FS9

Real Stars adds all the visible stars to Flight Simulator 2004, Capt Dave Bernard says:"Anyone doing night work may like to get outside the aircraft on occasion and look at the stars. The difference in brilliance of the stars makes the screen look a so much better and natural at night".
